- The first assessment on your account
- All six stages — context, Statement of Applicability, risk management, documents, implementation and management review — for 30 days from the day you create it.
- No card to start
- A work-account sign-in and nothing else. Charging begins on day 31 at the flat assessment rate; the product tells you before it does.
- Once per account
- The free month belongs to the account, not the workflow. A second assessment — in this or any other workflow — is charged from the day it is created. Cancelling and recreating does not grant a second free month.
- Your work is kept
- Everything you built in the free month stays in the assessment. Continue and it carries on; stop and it remains exportable through the 90-day export window.

- When charging starts, precisely
- Your first assessment: day 31. Every later assessment: the day it is created, at US$204.76 a month or US$2,047.60 a year per assessment. Switching monthly to annual takes effect at the next period; there is no proration credit.
- Maintenance, precisely
- Mark an assessment complete and, from the next period, it bills at 25% of the active rate (US$51.19 a month) with two read-only seats. Reopen it and the full rate resumes at the next period; the read-only seats are withdrawn.
- Seat caps, precisely
- Assigning a person beyond the assessment’s seats is refused with a clear "409 — seat cap" message and a link to contact sales. Nothing silently truncates, and nobody is silently dropped. A seat is whoever actually holds a role; clear an owner and the seat frees immediately.
- If a payment fails
- The assessment turns read-only until the invoice is settled. You can still read and export everything; nothing is deleted.
- Cancel any time
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period — no refund of the unused term, monthly or annual. Your records — SoA, risk register, documents, minutes — remain exportable for 90 days after that.
- Up to three, then talk to us
- An account can hold three active assessments self-service. A fourth, a fourth person on any assessment, custom workflows or bundles across workflows go through a conversation with sales.
- Promo codes
- Promo codes are single-use, tied to one workflow, and take a percentage off for a set number of periods. They queue behind the free month and stack with the annual term. Ask us at hello@deepdivelabs.tech if you are evaluating.

Is anything free?
Yes — the first assessment ever created on your account is free for 30 days, with no card. Once per account, not once per workflow: a second assessment is charged from the day it is created.
What happens when the free month ends?
Charging begins on day 31 at the flat assessment rate. Add a card from the billing page before then; if a payment does not go through, the assessment turns read-only until it is settled — nothing is silently lost.
Do we need a consultant?
No. The workspace is built to be self-served: guided questions, pre-justified baseline controls, a risk library, and drafted templates. If you do work with one, invite them into a GRC seat.
Is there an annual contract?
Only if you want one. Monthly is the list rate, cancel any time effective at period end. Annual is pay for 10 months and receive 12, charged up front with no refund of the unused term.
